Frequently asked questions.

How do I choose my size?

Our pieces are designed with a precise and technical fit. Once in the water, the fabric stretches slightly. It is therefore normal for your piece to feel tight-fitting when worn on dry land.

For this reason, if you are between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the tighter one, provided you remain comfortable with your movements and breathing.

We have provided a Size Guide to help you choose the best suit.

Are Drop pieces designed for regular training?

Yes. Drop pieces are designed for regular pool use.

They have been conceived to accompany swimming in its most concrete demands: support, freedom of movement, precision of gesture and comfort in repetition. Their construction aims to support the body without creating unnecessary distraction, so that the piece fades away in favor of sensation and performance.

Drop is not a piece designed to be merely looked at. It is designed to be worn, session after session.

What makes Drop fabric stand out?

Drop fabric was chosen to combine two often opposing requirements: performance and feel.

It is an ultra-light technical material weighing 106g/m², with a thickness of 0.4mm, and 41% elastane, designed to offer a second-skin effect, great freedom of movement, and excellent hold in water. Its elasticity reaches approximately 85% lengthwise and 110% widthwise, to precisely follow the body without constricting it.

Its smooth surface and construction were chosen to limit distracting sensations, aid glide, and allow movement to remain fluid, clean, and free.

At Drop, material is never a detail. It's the starting point for the piece.

Is the swimsuit chlorine-resistant?

Yes. Drop pieces are designed for pool use and to withstand regular use in chlorinated water.

The fabric has been chosen to maintain its shape, precision, and elasticity over time. Like any high-end swimwear, its durability also depends on its care. Rinsing with clean water after each session is essential to preserve the fabric, construction, and color depth.

A piece's performance also depends on how well it is cared for.

What are the benefits of the Drop pieces' technical design?

The Drop construction was designed to reduce anything that might interrupt movement: friction, unnecessary bulk, distracting sensations, or poorly distributed tension zones.

Depending on the models and body areas, the pieces incorporate precise work on:

  • support,
  • lining,
  • hold,
  • freedom of movement,
  • and clean finishes.

Key areas are constructed to support swimming with greater stability, comfort, and control. The objective is simple: for the piece to support the body without ever overshadowing the sensation.

How do I care for my Drop part?

We recommend rinsing your Drop piece in clear water after each session.

Ideally, then gently hand wash it, and let it air dry, flat or hanging, away from direct heat.

This simple action helps to preserve longer:

  • the fabric,
  • the elasticity,
  • the fit,
  • the construction,
  • and the intensity of the colours.
Can I machine wash my swimsuit?

No. We do not recommend machine washing.

To preserve the delicate nature of the material, the precision of the construction, and the durability of the finishes, Drop advises hand washing in clear water after use.

Machine washing, even at a low temperature, can more quickly alter the elasticity, the fabric's hold, and the overall quality of the item.

What are the delivery times?

To be accepted, the item must be returned in its original condition, unworn, unwashed, with its original components. If you need an exchange or a return, please contact our customer service, who will guide you through the process.

The goal is simple: to allow you to discover Drop with confidence.

Where are Drop pieces designed?

Drop pieces are designed in France.

This choice is not incidental. It is an integral part of the brand. It reflects our demand for precision, quality of execution, and expertise. Each piece is developed with particular attention to the material, construction, finishes, and how it accompanies movement in the water.

At Drop, "Made in France" is not a superficial argument. It is a standard.

What does "Shape the Water" mean?

“Shape the Water” expresses Drop’s vision.

For us, swimming is not just about raw performance. It's also about line, control, feel, and the relationship with water. The correct stroke doesn't fight against the water: it works with it, it glides through it, it almost sculpts it.

The signature summarizes this conviction: creating pieces capable of serving this dialogue between the body, movement, and water.
