The search
Why are the most high-performing fabrics so unpleasant to wear?
The answer holds in one word: the knit. Nearly all swimsuits, from the most accessible to the most technical, are made from knitted fabric. It's the industry standard. Knit offers elasticity, a controlled cost, fast production. But it also imposes its limits: a slightly irregular surface, higher water retention, and that characteristic grain you feel against your skin, length after length.
We searched. For months, we met weavers, explored different textile constructions, analyzed dozens of samples sent by specialized mills. Some glided well but didn't last. Others resisted everything but compressed too much, trapping the movement instead of freeing it. Most made concessions we refused to accept.

Weaving rather than knitting
Warp and weft. Plain weave. The most restrained, and the most precise, textile construction. A rigorous interlacing of threads that produces a uniform, smooth, taut surface.
In swimwear, this choice is extremely rare. Weaving demands more complex engineering, a slower manufacturing process, stricter quality control at the mill. But the result is felt immediately.
The woven surface reduces resistance in the water in a perceptible way. Less drag, less pull. A cleaner contact on the skin, with that quality the first swimmers to try it described in a single word: disappearance. The hand of the fabric, smooth, dry, technical, changes the relationship to contact. You no longer feel the material against you. You feel the water.
The fabric stops being a garment. It becomes an invisible border between your body and the element.
The hands that shape it
Selecting a fabric is not enough. You still need hands to turn it into a finished Piece.
The fabric leaves the weaver. It then arrives in another French atelier, specialized in high-end confection, whose expertise was built over decades of collaboration with the great couture houses. The same gestures. The same rigor. The same demand down to the centimeter.
Each cut is studied to hug the swimmer's body with precision, neither excessive compression nor slack. And it's in the assembly that the craft reaches its full measure.
Here, no traditional stitching. The Pieces are assembled by high-frequency welding and bonding, techniques borrowed from the world of technical luxury, that eliminate any excess thickness at the joins. No seam allowance: each panel is cut to its final dimension, with no surplus fabric, no fold. The edges are clean, laser-cut, crisp, light, impossible to feel against the skin.
The result: a Piece with no parasitic relief. Nothing catches. Nothing rubs. Nothing reminds you that you are wearing a garment. Pure lines that serve the aesthetic as much as the hydrodynamics.

Every figure, a sensation

41% elastane. A ratio calibrated to the percentage point. Less, and the hold collapses on long sets. More, and compression becomes restraint. At this threshold, the fabric stretches with you, 85% lengthwise, 110% widthwise, then returns to shape. Total freedom of movement. Constant hold.
Over 30,000 Martindale cycles in abrasion resistance. You may not remember that figure. Your Piece will demonstrate it, session after session. The material doesn't pill. It keeps its surface and its elasticity, month after month of intensive training.
